Your GPU physically cannot exceed 100% usage because you're dealing with physical transistors handling data. Your GPU isn't going to "try to go faster", it's simply reporting to you the state it's in. If your GPU reports that it's going at 100% usage, that means all of it's transistors are actively in use. The accelerator is not connected to the engine at all, it's not the thing telling the engine to combust. Once the accelerator is all the way down, there is no "faster", the valve is simply open. The accelerator in your car does nothing but control how much air gets into the engine to feed the combustion of the engine. You clearly don't know how a car or a GPU work if you think that holding down the accelerator will make your car "continue to try" to go faster and that a GPU going at 100% will do the same. Crossing fingers that there are no issues playing D4 during the Server Slam this weekend. Not bad, but I would have preferred a card closer to the MSRP that I paid for my 3080 TI (MSRP $1600). They sent me a Gigabyte Aero 4070 TI (MSRP $900).
