Groups are used to organize your devices for easy monitoring and management. Once you have added your devices, you will need to create groups. In the “Add Devices” dialog, you can either manually add devices by IP address or subnet, or you can use SolarWinds NPM’s auto-discovery feature to automatically add devices on your network. To do this, click on the “Add Devices” button in the top-right corner of the SolarWinds NPM window. The first thing you need to do is add your devices. Once SolarWinds NPM is installed, you will need to configure it to monitor your network. After the reboot, SolarWinds NPM will be up and running. Once the installation is complete, you will be prompted to reboot your server. To install SolarWinds NPM, simply run the installer and follow the prompts.
